  • Bodhi School Potluck

    Sunday May 4 is the last session of Bodhi School until September. To celebrate a wonderful year of teachings, shambhala arts, and fun together, there will a Bodhi School potluck at 12:30, following the class. Please contact kids@baltimoreshambhala.org for more information.

    Learn how to be with the dying and their families.
    Led by Cathie Papantonio. Ms. Papantonio has extensive experience as a nurse in hospice and geriatric care.
  • Walking the Bodhisattva Path

    A Shambhala School of Buddhism Course
    Building on the Taming the Mind class, this course presents the mahayana path of dedication one's life and practice to arousing awakened heart and engaging the practices of a bodhisattva warrior for the benefit of all sentient beings.
    Suggested donation: $75/$65 members;
    ($28 workbook recommended, if not already purchased for Taming the Mind).
  • How Confusion Dawns As Wisdom: Working DIrectly With the Energy of Emotions

    Friday, May 30th, 7:30pm - Sunday, June 1, 6:00pm
    Based on ancient Buddhist teachings on the five wisdom families, this experiential workshop developed by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche works with color, postures, and environment to explore how neurotic emotions can transform into enlightened energy. Also called Maitri Space Awareness.
    With visting teachers Jonathan Kirkendall and Scott Perkins
